Tae Ham is a Tampa, Florida based artist. As a self-proclaimed futurist, Ham challenges old narratives of a futuristic society without the representation of black individuals. His murky, dream-like paintings gives the viewer an almost psychedelic experience of worlds not known to this planet or this time period. Ham’s artwork highlights African/African-American culture, spirituality and aesthetics.
